Spring has sprung ...

The weather is warming, the birds are singing, the sun is shining.
Spring is in the air.

You know how I can tell?
My patio has fresh green growth!
In the winter I seriously hibernate.  I do not do outdoor activities.  And it's obvious by these photos, I do not pull weeds.

Just look at the height on this one ...

My 3-year old brought this one to my attention ...
look mommy, a flower!
I hope my garden grows with as much gusto!

I've got two words for you! "Round-up"! Heehee! I've got so many weeds it's not even funny! But, I figure, it makes things green around here. I'm just trying not to let them go to seed. I dug up a wonderful dandelion yesterday.

We are birds of a feather, Linda! My backyard is so pathetically in need of work that I celebrate the weeds just for the greenery. I was supposed to prune the roses in January. Hmmmm. I'm not sure but I think it's February.....

Our back yard is in need of some weeding too. Dave LOVES the yard so he keeps up even in the winter, but with the little bit of moisture we have had lately, they are just everywhere! Hey, we could live in Chicago where they don't even see a hint of warm air until May and there is snow on the ground sometimes till then too. Maybe the weeds aren't so bad.
