For My Mother

You are the strongest, bravest, most generous, loving,
kind and caring soul I've ever known.
You have shown me what it means to be a true woman of faith.
Life hasn't always been fair or easy,
but you have handled it with dignity and grace.
You have fought the good fight ...

So Mama, it's okay now to let go.
I pray for you to finally be free.
Eternal peace, love and healing ...
is waiting for you
in God's loving embrace.

We will be fine.
It won't be easy.
We will miss you so much.
And we will always love you.
But we will be okay.
I promise.

Linda......I am SO sorry but I didn't know your mother had reached this point. I know you said she had been ill and was struggling with Alzheimer's but please forgive me for not realizing things had changed so rapidly.

Is there ANYthing I can do? Can I take Alex to classes for you? YOU KNOW I WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT. Can I help with kids? Please let me know. I'll be praying for you with all my might tonight. I know your mother was a wonderful mother to you and that you love her VERY MUCH. I wish I was there to hug you just now.....

We are praying for you and your family every day. If there's anything I can do. I can come pick up Emma for the day or take her to the park for the afternoon. Let me know! Hugs, my friend!
