Once Upon a Dream ...

My 3-year old daughter has a crush on a guy named Phillip.

Apparently, he's handsome.
He can ride a horse.
He can sing.
He can dance.

And ... he's a hero ...  he can slay dragons.
If that's not enough to make a girl's heart skip a beat,
I don't know what is.
Oh yeah, and he's a prince!
So I'm guessing money is no problem.  He's due to inherit a kingdom some day.

And don't tell anyone, but I had quite a crush on the same guy when I was her age.
This is the stuff fairy-tales are made of.
And no matter how old you are ... it's still magical.

He is my favorite prince. Alas, Sleeping Beauty is my all-time favorite animated film. It's a visual masterpiece--moving artwork.

Your daughter has splendid taste, for sure!

Ahhh, it starts young, doesn't it. I love Sleeping Beauty, too. I love the music.

Both of my girls have always been consumate flirts. But the "he's hot" thing started for my youngest when she was about five. I mean I have done an entire post about how she keeps Justin Timberlake in her panty drawer...

Hi Linda..thanks for your comments about Kitty Baby on my blog. It truly did help to walk through with friends.

I love your sweet little daughter's crush on a celluloid prince. May it be so for a very long time...These are the easy days my friend. I know. I have a 17 yr. old. :)
